It's Hot Dog Day

Did you knew that in average Americans eat 70 hot dogs per year !
Personally I think that my fare share it's a bit more hefty than that. I tried to figure it out and lost track, now I just want a hot dog, with ketchup, spicy mustard and chopped onions.

So in celebration of this National (unofficial) Holiday " Hot Dog Day " I want to share with you some places that I've been lucky enough to have a dog or two and it has never been wrong.

  • Nathan's Famous - www.nathansfamous.com Bring on the bun length sauerkraut dog and cheese fries
  • Dogma Grill @ Miami - www.dogmagrill.com Check them online and make sure to read about their Frank Philosophy. This is a most visit if you are in town.
  • Five Guys - www.fiveguys.com Did you even knew they had dogs ? A kosher, cheese, bacon and cheese & bacon dogs are available, and they are as good as the burgers.
  • Pink's @ LA - www.pinkshollywood.com Chili dogs here are to kill for. Just get there early or prepare to be in line for a while.
  • Hot Dog Heaven @ Ft. Lauderdale - http://hotdogheaven.infinology.net A "Chicago love affair" as they call it, just bring enough cash, no credit cards taken.
  • Ben's Chili Bowl @ Washington DC - www.benschilibowl.com One of the best chili dogs ever.
  •  Hot Doug's @ Chicago - www.hotdougs.com I just have to say great dogs and cheese fries.
Last don't forget the hot dog vendors @ NYC Times Square, local Downtown Court House and the always welcome street fair or festival. These street vendors have it going on, they know the game and above all they can serve you some of the best dogs you'll ever enjoy.
